Welcome to Woman in the Middle! These Terms & Conditions outline the agreement between Woman in the Middle (“we,” “us,” “our”) and the client (“you,” “your”) when you use our event planning services. By booking with us, you agree to these terms.
We provide event planning, coordination, styling, and related services as per the selected package. Any additional services outside the agreed package will incur extra charges.
• A non-refundable deposit of 20% is required to secure your booking.
• Full payment is due 14 days before the event date unless otherwise agreed.
• Payments must be made via bank transfer or other approved methods. We do not accept cheques.
• Failure to make full payment by the due date may result in cancellation of services, and any payments already made will be non-refundable.
• Services will not be provided unless the full balance is cleared before the event.
• The Client shall be responsible for making all payments directly to external vendors and suppliers.
• Upon receipt of an invoice from a vendor or supplier, the Client agrees to fulfill the payment obligation promptly.
• The Client shall provide the Planner with confirmation of each payment made to external vendors, ensuring that all financial commitments are met in a timely manner.
• Failure to adhere to the payment terms outlined above may result in the cancellation of services, with any prior payments made to the Planner being non-refundable.
• You must provide all necessary event details, including guest numbers, venue access, and vendor contacts, in a timely manner.
• If you book external vendors, you are responsible for their contracts and payments unless we are managing them under your package.
• You must inform us of any changes to your event as soon as possible.
• The Client’s Responsibility for Vendor Payments is detailed above: refer to 2. Bookings & Payments.
• Woman in the Middle is not involved in the provision, purchase, or handling of alcohol at any event.
• If alcohol is required at your event, you must arrange, purchase, and facilitate it yourself, either directly or through a licensed third-party vendor.
• We do not take responsibility for obtaining alcohol licenses, arranging bar services, or ensuring compliance with venue regulations regarding alcohol consumption.
• The Client is solely responsible for ensuring that all alcohol-related activities comply with UK laws and venue policies.
• If you cancel more than 30 days before the event, you may receive a partial refund, minus the non-refundable deposit.
• If you cancel within 30 days of the event, no refund will be provided.
• In the unlikely event that we need to cancel, a full refund will be issued, or we will help find a replacement planner.
• Changes to the event date, time, or location must be agreed upon in writing and may be subject to additional fees.
• We are not responsible for delays or issues caused by third-party vendors, venue restrictions, or unforeseen circumstances.
• We are not liable for damages, losses, or injuries that occur during the event.
• We strongly recommend that you have event insurance for major events.
• Any breakages or damages to hired equipment remain the client’s responsibility.
We may take photos/videos of event setups for marketing purposes unless you request otherwise in writing before the event.
We are not liable for cancellations or disruptions due to unforeseen circumstances such as natural disasters, pandemics, or government restrictions.
These Terms & Conditions are governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
